Grizzle is the leader of the Wildebeest Tribe. Grizzle is the battle-worn leader of the Wildebeest Tribe. He is the oldest of all the leaders and has been on two previous pilgrimages in his lifetime. Although he agrees to participate in the pilgrimage, Grizzle is protective of his tribe, and distrustful of the Lions and Baboons, whom he considers a threat to the group’s stability.
